Vladimir de Fontenay
Vladimir is a filmmaker based in New York City. He was born and raised in Paris where he studied political science. He then attended Italy’s Scuola Civica di Milano where he met his mentor, Michelangelo Frammartino, and worked at Alain Chabat’s production company Chez Wam.
Vladimir has written and directed several award winning short films that have screened in film festivals around the world including Sarlat, Montpellier, Riga, Woodstock and Slamdance. He has worked on music videos with artists such as Beach House, and has been supported by European production companies such as MACT and Channel France 3 Télévision which distributed his short film La Balle au Prisonnier.
Vladimir is currently an MFA candidate at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where he was awarded the Steven J. Ross & TSOA Fellowships and was recently selected a finalist for the Kodak Award for Excellence in Filmmaking. He is now developing Memoria, a feature script adapted from the book Palo Alto written by James Franco, to be produced by Rabbit Bandini this summer as well as Mobile Homes, a feature script adapted from his latest short film that shares the same title.

MACT Productions
Antoine de Clermont-Tonnerre created MACT in 1992 with is wife Martine, both already having strong filmographies as feature films producers. Together, they’ve produced, among others, « Central do Brasil » by Walter Salles, « Cabaret Balkan » by Goran Paskaljevic, « Comédie de l’innocence » by Raoul Ruiz, « Le Pont des Arts » by Eugène Green, « Nue Propriété » by Joachim Lafosse or « La Fiancée Syrienne » and « Les Citronniers » by Eran Riklis, and many more.
