SYNOPSIS
Laurenne is an old lady in a retirement home. Discreet and disciplined, Laurenne is getting depressed in silence. Until she meets Sylvie, in her 40’s, recently hired in the institution. While she become friends and that some people try to warn her about Sylvie’s intentions, Laurenne finally discovers audacity.

Delphine Corrard
Delphine Corrard was born in France in 1979. After doing a one-year training in the Living Arts at the Paris VIII University, she studies at the Ecole Supérieure d’Etudes Cinématographiques (ESEC), specializing in editing. She then becomes an assistant director and a unit manager on many feature-films, TV series and advertisements. Among the projects she worked on, we can mention "Mesrine - ennemi public n°1" in 2007, the TV show Profilage in 2010 and many commercials for prestigious brands (HSBC, American Airlines, Volswagen, RATP, Dolce & Gabbana...). Delphine Corrard then decides to make her own projets, directing a docu-fiction in 2009 called « Le Thaï Cellophané » following the daily life of a homeless man from Thailand. The Damsels, produced by Origine Films, is her first fiction short-film.
