James Vaughan
James Vaughan is a writer, artist and director from Sydney, Australia. In 2011 he wrote and directed an experimental theatre production, Kingies, about the downfall of an obscene king, featuring mime, live music and video-recording helmets. The following year he wrote, directed and edited his debut short, You Like It, I Love It, where it won local praise for its subtlety and originality. With its selection in the International Competition at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival 2013 and for Generation 14plus at the Berlinale, the film has quickly attracted attention at the highest levels. Since the film’s completion, James relocated to Melbourne to join Flood Projects, where he has been working under the mentorship of critically acclaimed Australian feature director Amiel Courtin-Wilson (Om Tuk, Hail, Bastardy, Cicada) and producer/director Michael Cody (Om Tuk, Hail, Foreign Parts).
James is currently working on a number of feature-length scripts including The Triumph of Structure, an absurdist thriller about a Sydney City councillor with a grandiose vision to alter the soul of the city, and an adaptation of the novel The Castle by Franz Kafka.

Olivia Hantken
Olivia Hantken is a young Australian producer and production co-ordinator at renowned Sydney-based production collective, Collider. Born in Adelaide in 1987, Olivia moved to Sydney for her high school years and subsequently studied Digital Media at the University of New South Wales College of Fine Arts. During her university years, she discovered a talent for co-ordinating creative projects and began to harness the energy and talent of her classmates through independent productions.Since graduating in 2009, Olivia has worked with Collider. In her three year tenure, Olivia’s work has spanned short film, art film, fashion film, music videos and television commercials. She has worked extensively with celebrated directors Joel Pront, Tim Richardson and Daniel Askill - Collider co-owner and revered film maker - and firmly established herself in the Sydney production scene.
In early 2012, Olivia collaborated with friend and director James Vaughan to make the short film ’You like it, I love it’ - a story about middle class australia shot over 3 days between Sydney and the small rural town of Running Stream.
