KANG Won was born in South Korea in 1982. His third short film "Ugly Night" won Best Actor at The Seoul Independent Film Festival and Best Short Film at Blue Dragons Awards. Among others, it was selected at Rotterdam, Puchon, Palm Springs and Paris Korean Film Festival.
