Synopsis
Kadiatou left Conakry to join her sister in the village. She fled her husband who doesn’t want to divorce. In the village, where she lived all her childhood, she is confronted with traditions which she finds obsolete.
Mamadou Samba Diallo
Born on 1 November 1994 in Tambacounda, Senegal.
In 2016, he participated in the workshop "Ateliers Cinéma" (script writing and production) of the city of Mbour (partnership between Belgium and Senegal). Four short films will be produced during these workshops.
In 2017, he wrote and directed his first short film "Aliou’s Journey" in Senegal.
In 2018, he wrote and directed his second short film “The Cow” in Guinea.
In Sénégal, he is co-director of “The Tabaski’s Thief” with Sadibou Diagne and edit his film. He edit also “The 3 Suitors” by Kaba Souaré and “The Lost Son” by Sadibou Diagne.
In 2019, he write the script with Boubacar Hanne Dia and El Hadj Gueye “I am looking for my father” by El Hadj Gueye. He is co-director with Babacar Hanne Dia of “The Veiled Woman”. He edit “I am looking for my father” and “The Veiled Woman”.
In 2020, he wrote and directed and edited his third film “The Wheel Turns” in Guinea. He edited too “School in my village” by Kaba Souaré.
