Erik is a solitary woodcutter. Kevin is the young conductor of the village’s cycling brass band. Erik never goes out without his old mare. Kevin is keen on the clarinetist. The clarinetist is crazy about horses. But Erik doesn’t know how to give. And Kevin doesn’t know how to flirt. They are both going to have to learn.
After Master of Filmmaking at the IAD, François Bierry writes and carries out many programs for Belgian television, as well in fiction (series, mini fictions) as in entertainment.
"Solo Rex" is its first short film.
Created in 2002 by Anthony Rey, Hélicotronc is an independent company that produces short and full-length fiction and documentary films. In conjunction with a group of creative directors, it develops authors’ projects on a wide variety of topics. It also takes part in the coproduction and executive production of foreign feature films and TV films shot in Belgium. To this day, Anthony has produced more than 20 short films. Julie Esparbes is now producing shorts for Hélicotronc.
