a film by Eric Lahmène
16 min - 2014 - Luxembourg
Jules, Felix and Matthieu are affluent teenagers who only care about one thing : having fun. And that is why Jules, the leader of the group, decides to take Joé on a night out with them. Joé is two years younger than them and the butt of their jokes, every time, all the time. But tonight Joé has had enough and fights back. Jules in turn pushes back hard, leading his friends down a path where violence quickly spirals out of control and from which there is no return.
Writer / Director Eric Lamhène was born and raised in Luxembourg. His European sensibilities were shaped by a childhood obsession with American films and horror genres, which later gave way to an intense affinity with Asian cinema. Graduating with a Distinction in Filmmaking from the London Film School in 2010, he has made 4 short films to date, all revolving around the silent, psychologically violent lives of idle teenagers. He is currently developing his feature debut.
