Born in 1978, of Algerian background; Mounia Meddour first studied journalism then cinema in France where she graduated from the CEFP and the Fémis. She directed a first documentary entitled "Elementary Particles" (2007), then "The Kitchen in inheritance" (2009) and "Cinéma algérien, un nouveau souffle" (2011). "Edwige" is her first fiction short film.
Five2One Films discovers, develops and produces short films and feature films projects. After the 2009 comedy " Le Baltringue " (as executive producer), Five2One Films produced in 2010 the feature film: "Nictostratos le Pélican" (Warner Bros - Studio 37 - Canal +), directed by Olivier Horlait with Emir Kusturica and François-Xavier Demaison. Five2One Films develops in 2012-2013 four new movies.
