Synopsis

January 1885. As the sun rises over the Bois de Boulogne, Isidore Gustave René de La Vieuville and Paul Adolphe Marie Prosper Granier de Cassagnac face each other in a duel. Fernand and Gaston, two beggars having spent the night out in the woods, keep a watchful eye on the scene from behind the trees.
